Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 Tablet Confirmed to Debut in China on September 25
A report indicated that Huawei is aiming for its revival in the global markets. The company is expected to debut the Huawei Mate 60 series smartphones in European markets. Huawei recently unveiled these smartphones in the Chinese market. The Chinese conglomerate has announced the launch of the Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 tablet and Huawei Watch Ultimate Gold Edition in China.
The upcoming tablet is expected to be the largest tablet from the brand and will feature a 13.2-inch display, as the name suggests. Huawei launched the Huawei Watch Ultimate Edition in the Chinese market along with the Huawei P60 series, Huawei Mate X3, and Huawei MatePad 11 in March 2023. The company later launched the Huawei P60 Pro and Huawei Mate X3 in Europe in May 2023.
Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 Tablet Expected Specifications
The teasers shared by Huawei confirm that the tablet will sport the largest display in Huawei’s tablets. The teasers hint that the upcoming tablet will feature thin bezels around the display. A Weibo user tipped that Huawei might have increased the screen-to-body ratio to reduce the thickness of bezels.
The Chinese giant will also equip the tablet with rounded corners, making it different from the standard tablets. Xiaomi recently unveiled the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max tablet along with the MI MIX Fold 3 smartphone. The teasers hint that the forthcoming Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2-inch tablet will feature a notch.
The reports on the web indicate that Huawei might equip the tablet with dual front cameras. The notch in the MatePad Pro 13.2-inch tablet is also tipped to equip 3D ToF components for face payments, face recognition, and air gestures. The teaser also carries the Nearlink logo, which will debut with the tablet.
The technology will ensure that users can transfer files at better speeds without any connection-related issues. Huawei combines Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to operate Nearlink technology like Google’s Nearby share. Huawei claims the technology has several advantages, including lower power consumption, higher speed, and more.
The teaser also displays the detachable stylus, which is also said to feature many improvements. Huawei calls its stylus “MPencil” and claims the upcoming stylus will offer a stable connection and smoother experience. The forthcoming tablet is tipped to launch in Cyan, Black, and White colour options. There are reports that Huawei might equip the tablet with wireless charging tech.
Rumours suggest the device will feature an in-house Kirin 9000s chipset, built on a 5nm process. The chipset sports a Cortex-A77 core at 3.13GHz, three Cortex-A77 cores at 2.54GHz, four Cortex-A55 cores at 2.05GHz, and a Mali-G78 GPU.
Huawei equipped the recently launched Huawei Mate 60 series smartphones and Mate X5 foldable device with the same in-house Kirin 9000s chipset. The chipset is tipped to pair with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
