WhatsApp rolls out new ‘Fresh’ button for limited iPhone users

Meta-0wned instant –messaging app WhatsApp is rolling out a new ‘Fresh’ button for some select iPhone users, reported WABteaInfo.

According to reports, WhatsApp has released a new design update for the iOS 23.18.78 version for a limited number of iPhone users. The new update has added a new three-dot menu button instead of an Edit option above Chats in the app. Along with this, the icon to start a new chat is also replaced with a ‘+’ icon.

Some select beta users might also get the new revamped button style of the app. Moreover, the app could also be planning some other styles for the app buttons.

Apart from this, there has not been any new improvements to the app’s interface. WhatsApp is always trying to bring in new features and improvements to enhance user experience. For example: the app recently announced it’s Channels feature is now available for all users worldwide.

WhatsApp Channels rolled out in India

The WhatsApp Channels feature was launched earlier in June this year. This feature was however, only available in some specific regions. Now, the Meta-owned platform has released the feature worldwide, including India. According to the company, WhatsApp Channels offers a convenient, secure, and private method to receive crucial updates from individuals and organisations within the WhatsApp network.

Announcing the feature, the company wrote in a blog post that WhatsApp Channels is now available in over 150 countries. It will deliver a private way to receive updates that matter to you.

” We’re welcoming thousands of organizations, sports teams, artists, and thought leaders that people can follow, right within WhatsApp,” further reads the post.
